Receiving flowers reduces stress - its official

It doesn't matter whether you are given flowers as a gift, or buy them for yourself, there is a stress-reducing mood-enhancing benefit to having flowers in the home which is moreso than the receipt of another type of gift. In a test at the University of Florida, participants rated their stress levels before, and then 12 days after receiving flowers or a scented candle or no gift and only those with flowers stated a positive improvement.
So whether you treat yourself, or treat a friend or loved one, choose flowers to enjoy and relaaaaaaax! Fewer calories than wine or chocolate too!
